What’s in Your Hemp CBD?

Today, most hemp CBD or full-spectrum hemp extract oils are made from hemp grown in China or Europe. While many of these products might be of satisfactory quality, shockingly the FDA found that half of the CBD products they sampled contained no CBD at all — and that most of the samples had toxic contaminants of some sort. Given this, it’s no surprise that trying hemp cannabinoid products can be scary for many people.

H. Hemp Company products are different. Our products contain only hemp that is sustainably grown in the United States. In addition, H. Hemp Co. products are tested by a third party to ensure the utmost quality and safety standards.

While China and Europe can be fun and adventurous spots to explore, it’s clear that many quality and safety controls are quite different in these regions.  In addition, hemp is a very effective crop at cleaning up contaminated soil, and while this may be acceptable for many industrial purposes after harvest, it isn’t acceptable for hemp to be used in ingestible, full-spectrum hemp products, hemp-derived CBD oil or hemp CBD capsules.

By using only US-grown hemp, H. Hemp Co. is not only producing safe, effective products, but also helping create American jobs in areas that need them. Our hemp is sourced from rural areas of Colorado and Kentucky where the economies are being revitalized by the hemp oil and hemp CBD trends. These areas also have high rates of opioid and anti-anxiety medication abuse and are encouraging research of hemp CBD to determine how it might be used effectively for pain and anxiety.

This year several more states began hemp growing operations under the US Farm Bill specifications. This is welcome news for the industry and for consumers, as it means that there will soon be even more high-quality, US-grown hemp available to those looking to try its therapeutic benefits.
